He won.

He destroyed the Jedi order.

He ruled the galaxy, he could've had batches of Sith Warriors and so on but because he didn't name them Sith they are called Dark Jedi. Seriously in reading the Dark Side Sourcebook, I really don't see any advantage to be calling yourself a Sith vs not(aside from the powers only a Sith Lorde persay could access...but that's for RPG purposes).

Seriously he won...why should he care about the rule of two, that was to insure secrecy for eventual victory, hardly a notion to keep once victory was achieved.
He won? so that was his evil twin that Vader threw down the shaft?

If ole palpy hadda kept it simple he'd have won. And the rebellion would have been a few laugh lines that imperial accadamy caddets shared.

Oops! That should say: Marka Ragnos lived at minimum two hundred years!

Of course he won his battle with the Jedi. By the time of the Battle of Endor their are no more Jedi, only a half trained boy. Your right about him losing sight of his objective though.

Publius

He is correct Vader did indeed take apprentice's, who he kept secret even from the Emperor. The details are in the old Marvel SW comics run.
