Well, as for the Dwarves, the Jardra species from my story "The Wormhole War" (linked to in my sig) bears
some resemblance to D&D dwarves, but with a more predatory, "orcy" visage.
Why wouldn't the Ferengi work? They're short enough.
Not to mention greedy enough.

Hmmm... I now have even more ideas for fanfics!! As if it wasn't exhausting enough to write "The Wormhole War"!!

Typhonis 1 wrote:well that would be simple
Vulcans=Elves
?=Dwarves
?=Halflinhs
Drow=Romulans
Uruk Hai= Klingons((only with more tacticl sense))
Reptiliads=Gorn
Ferengi=Dwarves (Short, gold-hoarding bastards with sharp teeth)
Not sure what halflings are, so no idea on them.

Sure, they do! They just grow out of their ears, is all! (They tie 'em in a knot in front.)

Halflings = hobbits.

Halflings = hobbits.
Halflings = Pakleds. Possibly Tellarites, except your description of halflings doesn't include porcine features.
NOW! WAIT A MINUTE! HOLD UP!
If Vulcans = Elves... does that mean that somewhere out there in the Alpha Quadrant, there are... Keebler Vulcans?

Sci-fi with retro technology. Steam powered spaceships, Victorian livery, that kind of deal. Jules Verne with enhancements, basicly.

Can't we just invent a species to correspond to the Halflings??

Basically it's what for years I've personally called "Victorian Tech," which I personally feel sounds more respectible than "steampunk."

Ah a true utopian future where the British Empire rules all.
