Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

Devil May Cry was pretty good but a little on the short side. If you liked the Resident Evil games it's for you.

My brother got a PS2 for Christmas, and the only reason I wanted one was for the titles not available on GameCube.

I'd say get Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (Although I did find the controls awkward at times, I still liked it. It's too bad I only rented it, and I'm not allowed to buy it).

OK, so I picked up Wild Arms 3 (Datana, what did you mean when you said Wild Arms Advanced 3rd? Is it the same game?) for $40 at EB. Definitely looks like my cup of tea.

Enjoy(magic is a tad wonky but cool)

And Wild Arms 3rd Advanced is the Japanese name for it.

It too also has a new game+ feaure but needs to be unlocked(literally)

Same game. I did see it for $30 at Best Buy, though. :D

Whoops. Those are the same game, just that I own the Japanese version. SCEA seems to rename (or at least change the logo of) every Wild ARMs game that they release. For instance, the second game was actually originally titled "Wild ARMs: 2nd Ignition" in Japan, and the title logo of the first is different between the American and Japanese releases.

Ah, I figured it was like that.

Thing that sucks is that I need a PS2 memory card now as apparently my PS1 card isn't good enough :P

Yeah fartknockers.

Still you'll probably only need one unless you get a game that takes Megs of memory instead of the Kb that most game do(basically unless you're a sports fanatic...Oi vey)

No sports games here; that's my brother's bag. And I don't need to waste 8MB on updated DVD software either.

Starfighter....eh

ZOE2(if you need a hypertastic mecha game with a lot of explosion...yeah slowdown, but pfft, staring at that many colors you'll think you're trippin)

But pretty much Cal's list is nice start...aside from all our RPG's recommends

I hate gameplayers who cheat their way to the end and think they've seen it all.

If you want your Star Wars Starfighting fix, just buy X-Wing Alliance and download the user created mods and campaigns. SW Starfighter is
crap, crap crap.
If I want a good computer sim, I'll play Freespace, because it beats any other computer sim I've played to stardust.

And SW:SF was a decent game. Could've been better, though.
