Palpatine telling Anakin that he will one day be the most powerful of the Jedi leads me to believe that Dooku is going to defeated by Anakin Skywalker, whether he does it as Darth Vader or not is up in the air.

I'm really hoping that Anakin becomes Vader and Palpatine announces that Vader will be his new apprentice. Dooku gets pissed at the betrayal and the two fight, with Vader crushing him like a bug.

Dooku would appear to have greater skill with a lightsaber AND a greater range of force-skills (Vader was never seen to use force-lightning, which appears to be an advanced skill).

Remember the battle between Dooku and Yoda? It seems to me that the reason Vader and Obi Wan dueled was for the same reason Yoda and Dooku resorted to lightsabers. Knowledge of the Force alone wouldn't decide the battle.

In the case when not all force sensitive beings/jedis want to become a sith lord. Which is the case. Yoda was more powerful than Dooku so why Palpy did not replace Maul with Yoda? Because Yoda was not available to the dark side.

Maybe the force lighting can be started from biological hand only. And I think when Anakin finally became Vader he lost his left hand and this ability with it too.

settles the arguement for me I know it would sure piss me off to try and learn to spank it with my left hand
