There isn't a great deal more to be said from the Companion, mostly about how the Dominion is a "carrot and stick" organisation.Depending on your point of view, the credit or blame for the Jem' Hadar falls to Wolfe, who also originated the concept of this particular faction of the Dominion being a fierce warrior race with skin like rhinos.

Those Jemmie guns were stun guns. In the episode, both characters that the Jem'hedar bother to shoot (Kira and the Romulan chick) both were knocked out but were no worse for wear after the fact (neither of their uniforms were even scorched a little). Anyway that bit about Jem'Hadar weapons not having stun was more a 'guess' on my part. If they do have a stun then maybe close range firing kills the target (like we had in ST6), so they didn't do it on the bridge. But then Kira took a shot from some distance, and went down without a fight. It still makes sense if stun kills at close range.
That was T'Rul's only DS9 apperance; we know she survived, yet the deal with the Romulans required her on the bridge. I still wish we'd had hints of Eddington's sympathies with the Maquis prior to For the Cause but its alright since For the Uniform is one of my all-time favorite Trek episodes - and my favorite performance by Avery Brooks in DS9.Stofsk wrote:I thought she was going to be a new character like Eddington was, and have her own agenda.
