Any show has potential if you sack the producers and writers and replace them with good ones.

Don't get your hopes up. If it were to happen, the hiring decision would be made by a Paramount studio executive with a Harvard MBA and a file folder full of financial statements. If that doesn't scream "artistic integrity", I don't know what does.

No, it means, that the article quoted by Tribun doesn´t give any source for its information.

So, who should we get to replace B&B?

I know he isn't "new blood"...by why not Ira Steven Behr? He gave DS9 a quality that alot of the Trekfranchise lacked, and since Enterprise takes place leading up to the forming of the Federation, why not have a guy who wrote a war arc write the other big war for Humanity? (Romulan war)

Just a thought. B&B should have been shown the door after Insurrection.

Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

14. Braga I'm very pleased, my plans to destroy trek is working, mwahahahahahahah
LOL

69. Angela Griffin This show is the bane of Trek's existence, fans would all be better off without it, and that includes B&B. Trek fans around the world unite, support UPN for cancelling enterprise, Trek will only be saved when this show dies!
I just love reading these signatures.
128. Branon Braga Enterprise is my worst work, cancel it and me along with it!
283. Robin Quivers Howard's right. I don't even know how he could watch the first couple of seasons. I told him it was unwatchable after the 3rd episode. He was too busy staring at Spock's tits to notice how poor the writing was. Kill off Enterprise, please.
397. Triumph the Dog Enterprise is a wonderful show... FOR ME TO POOP ON!

Enterprise was likely doomed from the start, to be honest. Seven years of Voyager plus Insurrection saw to that. The fan base is mostly gone, and two absolutely terrible seasons of ENT to start scared off whoever was left. The fact that Nemesis, which despite it's many flaws wasn't a HORRIBLE movie, got its ass kicked by Maid in Manhattan, an utterly forgettable romantic comedy, on its opening weekend, speaks volumes about how little interest there is in Star Trek anymore. Unless Enterprise was absolutely world class television, with episodes on par with "Yesterday's Enterprise" and "City on the Edge of Forever" every week, it wasn't going to draw good numbers, even by UPN's dismal standards.

I can translate;

I can translate it. Basically, the big text is stating that the time of enterprise is over in America, despite it being a tremendous success in Germany.

The series was originally planned for UPN to last 7 or so seasons, but due to falling ratings and negative viewer interaction, the series is being cancled and will not return for the rest of the seasons.

It also goes on to state that the fans in the United States were already fearing the success of this show long before it ever started. "the series was changing ever since the 80's hit 'the next generation." I think it is funny that they say "trekkies" though.

It confirms this downtrend by stating that the post-next generation series lacked umpft, expeically in writing, plot, and characterization

IE "Blasse Charaktere und schlechte Drehbuecher"

It also goes on to state that ONE reason why the show sucked was due to its timeslot in competition with Smallville???

Um Mai fliegte Enterprize zum letzten mal (it airs its last in may)

The flop of Enterprise also conincided with the flop of one of paramont's newest enterprises (pun) Nemeisis.

Blah blah blah, more criticicm thats it.

LMFAO! these signatures are hilarious. . . .funny how most of the ones supporting Enterprise are outside of the US.

I hate the Western world for fouling the wonderful name of Star Trek with this horribly written show called Enterprise. May Allah, (Peace be upon Him), destroy Berman and Braga and this horrid show of Enterprise.

Spanky, Tribun posted an article that indeed says that. There is a difference and there's certainly no reason to insult him.

I signed it, but noted in my comments that my support was contingent on getting rid of B&B as soon as possible.

Well, what about getting respected writers of science-fiction literature for ST? This was one of the major differences between TOS and TNG - TOS was largely written by folks dedicated to sci-fi, while TNG was seemingly written by ordinary TV writers.
