Okay. Now exactly when, where, and how did B&B attempt to blame the fans for Enterprise's failure? With links if possible. This I've gotta see.
Edit: Man, I play D&D too much.

Hmm... so would I actually. I just assumed that B&B would do that shit. I mean, on Braga's website it's a bannable offense to say ill words against that hack. Furthermore, with the failing ratings, you would think both Braga and Berman would be clued in to the fan's distaste - since the quality hasn't picked up (remember I'm Australian, we haven't seen the 3rd season yet) one can assume the dynamic duo are ignoring the fans.Rogue 9 wrote:Okay. Sorry, I shouldn't have flung out my accusation like that without proof. I should have said they likely blame the fans for not watching the show.
(incidentally, you put down D&D - was that a typo, did you really mean to say B&B, or are D&D fans being blamed yet again for something?)

They did what?!? Okay, what's his site? I say bring 'em on. Was that Braga himself, or an overzealous moderator? (I've only seen a troll's IP posted on a forum once, and without any specific orders to go after him. And believe me, that guy deserved it.)Superman wrote:That's true. I emailed them a message and threatened them with a lawyer, so they took it down. Fuckers...

Considering the crap that the "Star Trek" name has been associated with over the years, yes. If Enterprise was the first show to take up the Star Trek mantle after TOS was cancelled, then it would be a travesty, but as it stands it's just par for the course. Hell, it's actually an improvement over Voyager.Darth Wong wrote:Comparing Enterprise to a typical "Reality TV" show is a toss-up, but ask yourself a different question: does this show deserve to be considered true "Star Trek"?

Enterprise could have been pretty good if B&B went with the Romulan War. They've already had an episode with them. They should have followed up with the Romulans not being too pleased with Enterprise. There are so many possibilities here. It's sad to think that they brought in the Xindi. The Xindi launch an attack that kills 7 million people, and they aren't mentioned once anywhere in Trek, not even in Nemesis. They only way to reconcile this is to hit the reset button and stop the initial attack before it happens in the final episode of the season. If that happens, though, they'll probably alienate the fans that are still watching the show.

but to do the Romulon War, would require the most anti-B&B skills, of suspense, pacing, and actually keeping a coharient continuity.
I mean if they can't see the Romulons and are forced to use prox-kill nukes, and calculated blind fire, the first era Romulons having massive ECM but no actual shields.... Now that would be interesting.
Also since the Romulon ships will go up like roman candles it would explain why no one will know that Romulons are Vulcans....

Unfortunately such intelligent ideas are unlikely to appear in a show created by B & B. We can still hope though. The Yosemite Bear wrote:but to do the Romulon War, would require the most anti-B&B skills, of suspense, pacing, and actually keeping a coharient continuity.

No bragga's site would be broken down then where would we be.
Still it would be an interesting project early era Federation with stealthy, sneakiy but weak Romulon ships, cloak and dagger, secret Romulon Traitors that never get found out.
it would make for an interesting idea/project
come to think of it, purhaps the best revenge would be to create much better, and better written scripts and plots for Enterprise then anything they can create, and unlike the fan's bitching they might not actually get the subtle form.

Mr. Bragga we have just heard that you are to be replaced by a skilled Sci-Fi writer who has deep set personal grudges with Gene Roddenberry....

Brannon Braga wrote: Dear Frank,
Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm for Enterprise.
I can answer your questions only in the most general ways, but I will confirm that yes, the Admiral Janeway character will be making an appearance on the show, thanks to the evil Borg, along with a a younger, more extreme, James T. Kirk.
This franchise is in great shape, despite rumors on the internet to the contrary.
Rick and I are handling the leadership challenges quite well, there are no current plans for a change there.
While we have our detractors, our new fans of the show more than make up for anything negative we hear from older, less open minds.
Once again, I thank you for your enthusiasm,
Brannon Braga
