First Contact was the least shitty TNG film.

It was at least a decent popcorn flick, which is more than I can say for the rest.

First Contact was the one I laughed the least at.

First Contact did have some huge ass plot holes, though. I can't recall all of them off the top of my head, but I remember that one of the largest was the Vulcans seeing Cochrane's tiny shuttle but either are totally oblivious to or just don't care about, the comparatively huge Enterprise-E.

Er, they took care of that with some line about hiding behind the Moon.

The primary problem was the fact that the Borg didn't start with time travel.

But oh well.

Enough people. You don't like TNG movies. But don't start one-upping eachother on who hates them more. FYI I saw a distinct trend to start insulting the best of the TNG movies after a handful of negatives were first started. Me-tooing is pointless and brings nothing to the thread.

Enjoyed Generations and First Contact equally. Generations, whilst the Enterprise did go down rather easily and didnt put up much of a fight, I liked the crossover between the TMP and TNG era, although Kirk did not die alone, like he said he would. I enjoyed the soundtrack, whilst not being as Trek traditional as First Contact in places, the images of them standing on the ruined bridge and all that were what made that film.

First Contact, had Borg, even weakened Queenied borg, but still, Borg. Enjoyed it all the way through, can't remember any specific problems aside from the whole Queen thing, but it has been a while.

Enjoyed Insurrection, but it was more like one of the TNG series movies than a real movie, I'm not particularly discerning with my films, but I enjoyed it, just in a different way to the first two.

Nemesis, now I said I wasnt a discerning film viewer, but this is the one film where I sat and nitpicked through the entire film, I really didnt enjoy it, from the mysterious bottomless pit in the Enterprise's mysteriously dark engineering section to B4, his crappy name and Shinzon being a really poor enemy, not a patch on Chang or Kahn. I think the Probe had more sinister overtones than he did. There were still, however, one or two moments in Nemesis, where I thought, if only the film had been like this, like where they use the motion picture theme and the Enterprise space dock theme whilst the Ent-E is in repairs. But they were just appeals to nostalgia and not really that relevant to the plot.

So:

Generations/First Contact (Joint 1st)
Insurrection (2nd)
Nemesis (somewhere below last)

I'm probably going to get beat down for this, but...

Screw it, *Picks up a baseball bat and breaks his own kneecaps*

I haven't seen a single ST: TNG movie. Thaaaaaats right. I 've seen maybe thirty minutes of the one with Captain Kirk in it.

"Why Danny, why on EARTH have you not seen any TNG movie?"
"There was always something better in the movie theater, And they're never on network TV."
"Really? What was out the last time a TNG movie was out?"
"I dunno, but I bet it was better."
"That's a rather sweeping generalization don't you think?"
"Nope."
"Why not?"
"I didn't see it, did I?"
"Hmm...Good point...."

First Contact and Isurrection entertained me, people got killed and things exploded and the plots didn't have too many holes in them. I found they were worth my $9.50 Cdn. Generations kinda lost me until the last half hour or so and I haven't seen Nemesis yet.

First Contact and Generations are my favorites. Insurrection was at least partially enteraining to me but still overall pretty shitty.

I liked elements in all of them and hated elements in all of them. The TNG movies inspire more neutrality in me than anything else. I suppose Generations and First Contact are overall the best of the lot. Although Data is neigh unwatchable in Generations.

I prefer TOS, overall.

I agree.

Oh wait.... ; )

The only TNG movie I liked was First Contact, which I consider one of the best Trek movies. My favorite is Undiscovered Country, followed by First Contact then Wrath of Khan and Voyage Home. The rest weren't that great.

My God, a blind chimp with a wooden-leg could pick this one.

Nemesis was, without a doubt, the best TNG movie. The plot was well-thought out, the acting was excellent. And what happened to the characters, genius!!!

Before I get beaten, please understand that I'm kidding. First contact is my real choice.

My favorite Star Trek TNG movie has been and always will be First Contact. It had action and relatively few plot holes. And I loved the fleet battle against the Borg Cube.

It's gotta be generations, i mean theres only one film that killed that vile pretender Kirk. :P

Now before you guys eviserate me and like to say that was a joke.I actually think first contact was the Best TNG movie closely followed by generations then Insurrection. Not having seen nemesis yet i'd can't rank it.
