AFAIK, all Green Lantern Rings (barring Kyle's uber ring) are at about Death Star levels of raw power with genie levels of versatility, but how much you can get out of each of these features depends on your willpower and creativity, respectively. Toss in the AI which basically allows you to do whatever you want as long as you think of it (ie: you don't have to figure out the mechanics of it), in addition to auto-protecting you against a variety of dangers, then a GL would make One Ring incredibly redundant.

Heck, if you figure out that the weaknesses and the power level are programmed into it and that you can reprogram your ring, then you can instantly absorb the entire Central Battery into yourself and become Parallax...
