I've seen a lot of translated adult manga that have continuity.

It's just that they often are lacking in the story department.

CPM adult manga line dooes license the longer story continuities hentais though they're usually softcore. Studio IronCat also does the same though theirs titles are more obscure.

This is definitely not softcore. (though sometimes it's difficult to tell, under all the speedlines)

the underground manga that I've seen.

Some of it's actually well drawn as well (though not as intricate in techniques like shading as paper-releases).

yeah, though that usually gets classified under fanfic, rather than original work.

Arguably the most disturbing "films" ever made, and certainly among the most disturbing i have seen (being a fan of all things macabre), the Japanese made film series Guinea Pig is probably at the top of anyones list.

The films are a collection of sequences, usually about 40-60 minutes involving the rape, torture and mutilation of japanese girls. The are structurally like porno--no plot, and its just an excuse to exploit. I think they are made as a form of porn, as some people get off on girls being tied down and dismembered. The films are amaturishly shot with handheld camcorders, giving the impression of a snuff film. And despite the nonexistant production values they contain possibly the most realistic depictions of cruelty ever seen.

The most disturbing entry is one titled Flowers of Flesh and Blood. It starts wth a girl walking through the streets at night when a man in a van chases her and eventually kidnaps her. She then wakes up in a small concrete room, tied to a mattress. The man appears wearing a samurai helmet and strips and rapes her. When he is done he gets a knife an systematically cuts off her hands and arms while she is still alive, all of course in glorious close-up. I believe he then tears her guts out (killing her), and gouges out her eye, which he then sucks on, before decapitating her and throwing her head against the wall. It ends with glimpses in his basement lab, filled with assorted organs and bodyparts, and the man sets out again, implying that he does this routinely.

The film is disturbingly realistic, complete with utterly realistic screaming and whatnot from the victim and the most realistic scenes of gore i have seen. I literally cannot tell how they did much of it, especially considering the voyearistic camera movement. The film was so realistic in fact that it was investigated by the FBI because they thought it was snuff. Charlie Sheen was shown it at a dinner party and contacted the authorities because he was convinced that the shocking footage was real! To prove their innocence the filmmakers produced a behind the scnes video to show that it was indeed fake. i think there was some copy-cat killers in Japan when the films were put out.

Watch it if you dare. I think there are 6 "films" in the Guinea Pig series but Flowers of Flesh and Blood is probably the most extreme of them all.

Unless I'm mistaken Bondage Fairies is still only a manga series and have not been made into a hentai.

To LT.Hit-Man

Do doujinshis and fan made movies (non-adult and adult) count or only official releases?

Rubberanvil wrote:Let me guess you've seen mostly the U.S. (probably Studio Proteus titles) translated and at times edited versions in American style (28-48 page) comic format? :)

I don't mean to insult or demean you but just trying to figure out what you've seen before continuing the discussion. :)
Heheh... That would be just about the saddest insult ever.
"You've only read the U.S. translations of Bondage Faries? Dude, you're such a loser!"

But yea, let's see. In response to the opening post, the most twisted things... Well, the movie "May" (American horror style movie; serious spoilers are incoming for the rest of this paragraph) in which a girl gradually goes insane (or starts that way) with lonliness, so she kills a punk kid she met on the street, her lesbian sometimes-lover from the vet and her girlfriend, her ex and his girlfriend, sews the bits she likes together into a love doll (for example, she really had a crush on her boyfriend's hands, so those are what she took) and then gouges out one of her own eyes as a finishing touch. Oh yea, and the scene where she shows her doll to the blind kids is good too.
The most effective thing about the movie is that the characters are pretty believable.

And then there's pleanty of fan made or otherwise non-professional stuff on the internet, but that doesn't count. I mean, that stuff is supposed to freak you out. So it doesn't work as well.

Well the most twisted and demented thing I would have to say would be an italian chronicle of the Inquistion in comic book format. Erm: Vampires, child rape, torcher, and rape/torcher/murder devices of the inquisition....

what's more terrifying that this shit was authentic, or that someone did a comic book with all this shit in it.

Well, if you widen the playing field to "worst thing in general," there's a couple Nine Inch Nails videos that are pretty sick: The one for "Happiness In Slavery" which shows a man having his penis ripped off before he's ground into hamburger, and the unreleased video for "Gave Up" which depicts a man being abducted, raped, mutilated and dismembered by a serial killer. Although, the most disturbing image in the "Happiness in Slavery" video is probably Trent Reznor wearing a suit and tie.

YES... that is twisted.

Even moreso when you realize that there are people out there recreating scenes from the novels.

To put it bluntly: Rape, BDSM, pony-girl/guy, sexual slavery, and a few other things along those lines thrown in. Not recommended if you're not bi-sexual along with being into everything else already mentioned.

What about John Norman's Chronicles Of Gor series?? It's not merely morally wretched, it's also boring.

Compared to "Sleeping Beauty" by Anne Rice, the Gorean Chronicles are just misogynist wankfests with bad writing. Anne Rice is twice the writer, which makes the "Beauty" series just as involving as her "Vampire" series, even if the subject matter is twisted sexual practices.

Another female writer that could qualify: Laurell K Hamilton and the lastest books in her "Anita Blake" saga.

I haven't read Anne Rice, but what is the plot of the "The Sleeping Beauty" series? (if there is one)

From what I've read and pieced together, it can be summed up as such (mind you, it's been a while since I last read anything directly relating to it): Prince screws sleeping Beauty, everyone wakes up, and because of the customs she has to go through some slavery thing. Commence twisted sexual practices, then she does something and gets sent along with some others off to some town to be "auctioned", commence second book and futher twisted sexual practices. She and some others then gets taken in some raid, commence third book and even further twisted sexual practices, finishing off with her really wanting even more twisted sexual practices. The end. :wtf:
