Just finished this up, not sure if I'm gonna make it a fighter or just some space hotrod:

I'm definitely getting racing vibes from it, rather than starfighter.

Random suggestion
Make it look more of one piece rather than random shapes.

To do that thicken the sections. For example your two front prongs, rather than have them "plug in" to the cockpit, thicken them up until the cockpit blends directly into them. No need to add a foot of material but just making the main wings and side prongs about a foot thicker in most places will give it a much stronger look than the spindly racing craft it looks like now.

Make it a space hotrod with guns! For, you know, clearing asteroids out of the way.

That thing needs some F1/NASCAR-style sponsorship decals on it. Nobody buys a sportscar and leaves it in businessdrone grey.

Well, I have been inspired following fractalsponge's thread. I have decided to work on a stardestroyer type ship. Here is something I have done up in about 30 minutes:







So, I want to try and do something different. I would like those of you interested to throw suggestions or things you'd like to see done. So, any takers?

Move away from the standard shapes. Try to do something unique.

It has a very Animish quality to it somehow...
Its...Its las if the Exelion raped a StarDestoryer and this is the result...

I think it is a result of all the spikey protrusions.

Added some detail....the destroyer next to it is supposed to be 1400 meters long:

So at least 5.5km long? Interesting. The only thing I dislike is the rear flaring, as it has the same height as the main body. That is only my opinion from the front and rear views however, the side makes it more appealing.

Can I use your design in the STGOD?

Would Mr. Grahf do 'commissions' as it were? I have some sci-fi designs i've had for ages that I've alwasy wanted to see given life in a 3D medium
