Starfleet Admiralty in TOS-Movie era

What is the name of the Admiral of the Fleet that gave the breefing in ST: VI? Also what is the President's name and speceis? Are there any links to the names of minor castmembers who held high positions in Starfleet Command in the TOS-Movie era? I've got a whopper of an idea for that b5/tos fic i'm working on and i need some names to make it work.

The only name I've seen for the briefing admiral is Adm. Drake, and that was out of a novel. At the time period you've got, I think there's also admirals Morrow (ST:III) and Nogura (ST:I). No links that I know of.

Admiral Cartwright was the C&C at the time, but i'm sure you don't mean him.

Admiral Cartwright was not the CinC; the CinC, who said "The Klingon Empire has roughly fifty years of life left to it" was specifically introduced as "the CinC".

IMDB's list of quotes for Star Trek VI has his name as Smillie, although whoever entered that quote in may have used the non-canon novelization as a reference, since IMDB lists the character only as "Starfleet Commander in Chief".
