What Is The Coolest Klingon Weapon and Why?

Post by Aaron »

I say the Mek'Leth. It's a nice balance between full size sword and their daggers. So it's basically a short sword. Good for close quarters combat.

which one? You've got the Ent-era proto-disruptor. You have the TOS silver disruptor. You have the TNG maroon Disurptor that fits into a rifle stock (which increases battery life & power of the blast). Well?

The D'k'tagh, I like the unfolding thing it does like in Star Trek III and also it seems the most practical of all the bladed weapons.

I dunno, coolest then the original Bat'leth, most practical? A nice long range disruptor sounds good. :)

Coolest would be Dk'targ (christ I hate klingon spelling) - the knife that has the folding thing so, presumably, it can be used to catch swords or other blades.

Also the distruptor, perhaps the only ST ranged weapon that LOOKS like a weapon.

Both are practical - the knife is the kind of thing you'd want in a knife fight, the distruptor the kind of thing you'd want in a gunfight.

While I like the look of the batleth I like the later disrupter pistols more. They look kind of like futuristic pirate pistols. In the sense that their lines and shape is a bit like the old mussle loading pistols often seen in pirate movies.

Also, Klingons aren't afraid of letting someone or something have it with multiple shots, at least when they get around to actually pulling their range weapons from their belts. :D

Their disruptor pistols and rifles (see Star Trek 3) rule. They look great, and they're (gasp!) practical!

The TOS era disruptors are my favorite. They pack a heavy punch and do actual damage rather than NDF effect.
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

D'K Tagh just looks so cool, the way when it's drawn the blades snick into place. It reminds me of the Kurgans Broadsword.
