First Contact question.

Post by Mr Flibble »

In first contact when the enterprise scans the 'assimilated Earth' they state that the atmosphere has high concentrations of Flourine. Wouldn't this mean that the Borg would have massive problems with corrosion on the planet, and that it would pretty much kill all organic life. What would be the origin of the Flourine, and how do the borg on the planet protect themselves and there infrastracture from its effects?

The Borg turned out to be dentists? :?

I don't think there is an answer. It's just a random detail.

The Borg were trying to corrupt the Humans precious bodily fluids; their commies, you know.

Of course, so are 24th century humans, so nevermind.
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."
