Their motto is "IDIC" or "Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations". Hillarious, then, that all the Vulcans ever seen are boring monotonous cookie-cutter people, eh? :P

What people don't understand about the Vulcans is that they were thinking of combinatoric mathematics when they said that.

Really? I thought it was just a philosophical position. But given their focus on logic I can see how they would regard mathematics in such a light.
