Just saw Hellsing, have some questions.
I've recently seen up to episode ten of Hellsing, and it's been great so far, if wildly different in some places from the Manga. Now, I have some questions:
Who is Incognito's master?
Does Millenium make any appearance in the series?
Why were all those dead SAS troops trapped in the ice?
What does Anderson's flashback in Order 7 mean?
Who is Incognito's master?
Does Millenium make any appearance in the series?
Why were all those dead SAS troops trapped in the ice?
What does Anderson's flashback in Order 7 mean?
And when I'm sad, you're a clown
And if I get scared, you're always a clown
And if I get scared, you're always a clown

We're never told but it's implied by Anderson's appearance that it's Iscariot.Who is Incognito's master?
Huh?Does Millenium make any appearance in the series?
Why were all those dead SAS troops trapped in the ice?
Hmmm, I don't know what you mean.
I've never seen a good explanation. I think the series got cut off before that was answered. What does Anderson's flashback in Order 7 mean?

Probably the traitor on the round table.
The ones at the end of Order 10, you mean? Incognito froze 'em after he sucked their blood out for some reason. Maybe he wanted to keep them fresh 'till they became ghouls. Why were all those dead SAS troops trapped in the ice?

Ah, the "Just Saw Hellsing" thing had me confused.Admiral Valdemar wrote:He only saw the first 10, which reminds me, I never did see the last 10 minutes of that episode.
Maybe. More likely it's ultimately some one at Iscariot; especially since Anderson was in town and apparently knew what was going on in the tower. It's possible they're connected but ultimately Icognito probably owes allegience to some one in Iscariot.Andrew J. wrote:3rd Impact wrote: Who is Incognito's master?

"Vampires and those who control vampires...all are held equally condemned in the eyes of God."-Enrico Maxwell (paraphrased)Shaidar Haran wrote:More likely it's ultimately some one at Iscariot; especially since Anderson was in town and apparently knew what was going on in the tower. Since Enrico kind of runs Iscariot, that seems to put a bit of ahole in your theory.

Re: Just saw Hellsing, have some questions.
No idea, or even if he *has* one. Its implied that he, like Alucard, serves a human master, though. And its further implied he comes from Africa (ie the "dark continent" referenced midway through the series.) However, he clearly has access to FREAK chip technology, and is tied to that in some way. Its indirectly implied that he is tied to Millenium.3rd Impact wrote: Who is Incognito's master?
Not as yet. Technically, Millenium makes its appearance just after events in episode 6/7 (things start to really change after episode 7, when they diverge from the Manga.) but the anime people for some reason diverged from that with the introduction of the events we see in episode 8 and onwards (ie, they never show up.) Presumably, Millenium is behind it all, even though there is no FREAK chips in the manga either, but the connection to all this (the chips, Incognito, etc.) has yet to be revealed.Does Millenium make any appearance in the series?
Some people say that because the FREAK chips appear to have swastikas emblazoned upon them that they are itied to Millenium, but this is an unsubstantiated belief.
To preserve them, apparently. But I'm not sure they were "dead" - remember that the SAS trooper Paul Winslow was chipped after being captured (episode 9, I believe) - given what was said later in eps 11-12, the notion was that the entire SAS group that stormed the castle in Episode 9 were captured, subverted, and turned into FREAKs.Why were all those dead SAS troops trapped in the ice?
Lots of speculation here, but nothing known. It seems he has some sort of fighting background and may have had prior encounters with Vampires prior to his current role/assignment. We don't know much about this brush at all, who the shadow advancing on him belongs to, or what it all means, so your guess is as good as mine. What does Anderson's flashback in Order 7 mean?

If he did, he'd be executed VERY quickly once it was discovered. The Vatican has little tolerance for people who associate with Vampires, much less the vampires themselves (see how they treat Hellsing, for example.)Shaidar Haran wrote:Maybe. To be fair, the Manga did imply that the Millenium Group had connections to the Vatican (IE traitors who assisted them in the past), but when that connection was uncovered Maxwell and Iscariot executed the person(s) involved rather messily. They're brutal, mindless fanatics, but in some fucked-up way they're basically on the same side as Hellsing in this matter.

Re: Just saw Hellsing, have some questions.
Incognito's Master was implied to be a human, like Alucard's, but its unlikely it was the Judas (Who was not even identified, and basically served as a cheap deus ex machina and a plug to one of the many massive plot holes that developed in the later half of the series.) The Judas was executed after the incident, so its more than likely he's just another pawn/agent/spy.Andrew J. wrote: Probably the traitor on the round table.
Those troops were intelligent, bat-shaped, red-eyed, fanged creatures with superhuman strength and agility. Ghouls look more like zombies, have no real eyes to speak of, no fangs, no real agility either, and are largely unintelligent. They were FREAKs (this was in fact indicated between eps 9-12 as well.)The ones at the end of Order 10, you mean? Incognito froze 'em after he sucked their blood out for some reason. Maybe he wanted to keep them fresh 'till they became ghouls.
