IWTV vampires

Interview with the vampire vampires, What were ways to kill these ones. Looks like only decap(or being cut in half) or sunlight, as Lestat was consumed in flames and not only survived, but regenerated back to full health. I thought he was dead after he got engulfed in that movie, of course in Blade this also happens and he regenerates back to full health as well.

Do you think this is logical. When you get third degree burns and/or charred skin hasn't it undergone a chemical change and not only that but TDB also go deep and char and/or destroy the bone.

Other than that there were weaknesses they had, such as drinking dead blood which made them very physically sick, and losing blood when he gets his throat cut, but Brad Pitt's character said Garlic had no effect, and he implies a stake through the heart wouldn't kill them, it would hurt them though.

Anne Rice's Vampires are vulnerable to fire, sunlight and decaptitation. Thats about it. Crosses, garlic, silver, etc, have no effect. As to Lestat survivng the fire, he drank from the first vampire, Akasha, in the Vampire Lestat, chronologically before he meets Louis, thus he was far more powerful and harder to kill than your typical Rice vampire. What happened to Lestat would have killed most other vampires.

Not to mention his sire was one of the most powerful ones around by that time.

I sometimes miss the Rice vampires. I stopped reading about them after that pieceof crap "The Vampire Armand." Are there any good Lestat stories after that one? I ecall Lestat woke up after his comatose state at the end of that book.

Far as I know, that's the last of the Vampire books she's done. *shrugs*

Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

There was "The Body Thief" I tried to read it, but couldn't

Wait Tevar is right, Armand, The Body thief & Menoche the Devil do not count they are not part of interview with the vampire series.

Actually, I just saw a new Rice book in the store about a vampire that seeks out the legendary Lestat! Is there any before this?

I liked it. I thought it was a lot of fun. Especially when Lestat seeks out Louis in a new body.

Of course they are! Who said they weren't?
