Master Summon materia from FFVII.
In my talons, I shape clay, crafting life forms as I please. If I wish, I can smash it all. Around me is a burgeoning empire of steel. From my throne room, lines of power careen into the skies of Earth. My whims will become lightning bolts that raze the mounds of humanity. Out of chaos, they will run and whimper, praying for me to end their tedious anarchy. I am drunk with this vision. God: the title suits me well.

No Godly level items...well...bugger....I'll list some of my favourite options for toys...even though some are not allowed.
Stormbringer, the Black Blade, need I say more, it's a killing machine in its own right, can take the form of any weapon depending on its wielder and its only drawback is that it kills people around you....so, just make friends with assholes and laugh as they have thier souls drained.
Snaga, The Sender, the blades of no return. A demon possessed axe, which is capable of deflecting magical energy attacks. A light, sharp, easy to wield and incredibly fun axe. This one gets two thumbs up.
Sipstrassi Stone, from a series of Gemmel Books, these little stones could be used by anyone to grant mystical powers, including dimension hopping, healing, time travel, extended life and even to create sustanance. Amazing value for money, especially when they can be "recharged" with naught but human blood....though apparently they are "evil" then and cant be used for healing
Ring of Regeneration, an old AD&D classic. Regenration, its not really like there's much more that needs to be said about why it appeals.
The Grail, another toy from Moorcock's Eternal Champion series. The embodiment of balance and a nicely balanced staff to boot, one of the only toys that could stand before the might of Stormbringer and one with entertaining reality warping powers.
Aldur's Orb/Sword of Riva, either of these would do, though the sword is a little on the bulky side, I'd rather remount this little stone on a smaller blade. The stone can bathe the blade in blue fire and will burn anyone it doesnt like that tries to take it and it allows one to channel thier will and alter reality.
Methuselah Stone, in one arc of Highlander the Series, this stone was meant to make the bearer invincible and immortal. It would certainly be good for fun at parties.
I think I could come up with some other toys to add to the list of things, but I think that'll do for now.

Final Fantasy. Anyway, Fatal Cait Sith is one of Lulu's weapons in FF10. Her weapons are animated dolls. This one has the auto ability Deathtouch. Gotta love the visual of a doll knocking people dead with a light tap.Admiral Valdemar wrote:1. Cait Sith as in the robot spy from Shin-Ra? That's fantasy?

Sword of Leah from Shanarra series.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

Well, let's see.Chardok wrote:You want the sword of Leah before or after it was dipped in that fucking dead lake thing?
Befor it was just a sword, after it was a Sword of infinite ass-kicking...all black with green swirlies in it....just RULE!!! ahahahhaahaha!
*Bounces away on his pogo-stick*
*pulls out sword of leah before druid fire infused power of the Shadehorn and stabs Chardok*
Chardok-"Hey, Oooouuuch. That fucking hurt!"
Hmm, ok. Now lets try it the other way.
*Has Allanon fry the sword with blue fire after he dips it into the Shadehorn and then stabs Chardok*
Chardok- "Hey......"
*Chardok goes up in burning blue magical flames as the sword cuts through him*
Hmmm, tough choise. I'll take the magical version please.

The Aleithiometer, or maybe Shieldbreaker. Hey, if the Glaive is allowed, the Sword of Swords should be.SirNitram wrote:In a complement to the sci-fi handheld weapon thread, what handheld widget from a fantasy series would you like? The Altheiometer, from Phillip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy? Why not the Subtle Knife then? Assuming you can reassemble it....Eleas wrote:The Aleithiometer, or maybe Shieldbreaker. My knowledge of fantasy it limited, so I'll go with a wand from Harry Potter, with full knowledge of spells.
No conscience. No law. No stopping them....
....well, maybe a Happy Meal would do it.

Chalk me up for a Glitch please.
A Keytool that can tell you the stats of any game you hapepn to be in, give you a real time update of the User's status, create and mend tears and turn them into portals to other areas, create tools ranging from simple hammers and screwdrivers to rappelling lines and jackhammers, can open vid windows to anyone.
Certainly many of those are probably limited to games but much isn't... and I'd love to see if Glitch (who can handle Magnets to EMP's shouldn't be a big problem ) might be able to use explosions to make portals out of
Other items I'd love to have?
Well the Orb of Elemental Mastery would be great, but there are better pets out there, and pet pathing sucks. You bring your pet up and walk a few steps away then call for help and he decides the shortest distance between itself and you is to circle Central Park twice.
Now what I would want is the Cleric's epic, the Water Sprinkler of Ak'Abar (sp.) AKA the Rez stick. It's nice to have a weapon that can bring the dead back to life (within 3 hours of their death) at the cost of only a couple months off their life. And I can water my lawn with it during droughts if needed. ('course if I was fighting, give me my Hammer of Souls instead.

My top three choices.
- The Tri-force.
- The Hero's Bow and Sacred Arrow of Light, Wind Waker Version.
- Galvayra from Slayers Try. Think the Sword of Light, but a bow instead.
