There's a 1701-A due out soon too (if it's not out already). That's the holy grail for me.

Uraniun235 wrote: There's a gigantic understatement. My mom mistakenly got the Fullscreen version. I decided to watch it to burn some time. During the battle, when Data says something about some shield arc being low and they cut to a shot of the shield indicators, they cut out the shield arc that Data referred to. They also seriously fucked up the shot of the Enterprise orbiting Romulus.

Effort? Hardly.
You mean that they didn't even get the right things on screen for the "pan and scan" bits? That's pretty bad.

The trick would be to find it. At the Toys R Us store near me, all I see is ENT toys.

I'd second that one! I made a lego E-Nil when I was a kid. But my mom made me dissaseble it. Oh well. I had to use multi-colored legos though so it didn't look so good anyway.

Er, do you mean a toy that's mostly pre-assembled (all my Enterprises came with the nacelles detached; just snap them on) and has buttons that make noises on it and lights that light up?

Or do you mean that kickin' rad model that that Japanese model company is putting out that I want so badly because it kicks so much ass?
You mean that they didn't even get the right things on screen for the "pan and scan" bits?
That's exactly what I mean.

They're not even going through the motions, then. Panning and scanning is not difficult. It should have been easy to do for a ST movie.

I thought Toys R Us was only going to carry the Ent-A on it's website and not in stores. :?

I just checked and the Amazon/Toys R Us website does have it listed at $25 but it's not supposed to be released until September 1st.

Bah, humbug. Voyager was a terrible show, but it definitely had the best-looking Federation ship.

Looking at Voyager from either directly ahead or astern always reminded me of Torres' haircut. Ick.

While I think the ship looks okay I've heard it discribed as looking like a spoon or a garden spade before.

Little did we know that Starfleet had designed a starship with the Tick in mind. "SPOON!" :)
