Who wants a map of the Star Trek Galaxy?

Post by Crown »

Well an un-official one anyway. You can get it here I must say that I am very impressed with the authors work on this. A very nice find!

Enjoy!

Yep.

They clinically pick apart every aspect, and end up with a very realistic map of the Trek galaxy. Good work.

Keep in mind that Star Trek Dimension had (and still does, as best as I know) a protest to the whole American operation in Iraq, and actually took his site off line for months as a protest. But he also hasn't updated it since, and it seems that he doesn't plan to anymore (it's called the Achive Edition now, for one thing).

As far as I know, the site's (both English and German versions) been effectively dead since late March...

I do agree that the map section is excellent, though.

I liked it as well.Very thought out and nicely done. I have seen others,
But this one stands head and shoulders above them all.

Bah, I thought this was something I hadn't seen before...
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

Shit happens.

You just have to deal with it.

I'd love to see a 3D map of Star Trek.

No, I can't make it. I have no 3-D graphics experience.

It'd work out better if one could make several 2D maps along a cross-section, like around 10 or so.

A Star Wars one would be cool. There's one but its a shitty official-wanking one that discards evidence and the Saxton interpretation.

I wish there was one really like this one, as in really taking science into consideration and such.

I like the site. My only complaint is that it recognizes Voyager as being part of Trek.
