I've cheated at poker. When I did my schoiol work experience myself and my room mates where playing poker for money. Me and one of the outer guys started making up runs telljng him there was such a thing as a "Small Flush" etc. We cleaned the poor sucker out and divided his money 50/50.

Got cheated in WH40K. Simple 1500 point game, but my opponent didn't have his army list with him. I should have known he was way over when he pulled out over 15 battlesuits and still had enough points left for O'Shava, 4 full Fire Warrior squads, and a Hammerhead gunship. I did some calculations when I got back home and found out he had over 2300 points...

Dude - you have now learnt the lesson of "Always ask questions".

Though i have seen this kind of thing before. A friend fielded 100 space marines in a 2000pt game. How I hear you screaming? They were ALL tactical marines wielding nothing but their bare fucking hands.

The worst is when you know the guy isn't cheating, but you are tempted to accuse him anyway.
Playing Perfect Dark, in the Villa, slow motion, I'm in the tunnel, headed to the area with the overhead catwalk around half of it. He comes off the ledge, using the magnum, turning, and pulls the trigger. As he has turned 90 degrees, his gun fires, and I have a second to realise his bullet is heading directly for my skull before I die.

Hum... 1500 pts worth of Sv3+ annonying buggers.... maybe a few rhinos... This idea has some potential. They'd be at least as annonying at Necrons. :D

Rumors surrounding new Armor Penetration(against vehicles) rules may make the Rhino even better.

Just noticed that I've essentially steered this thread away from cheating and towards WH40k. Mwhahahaha... With that out of my system, you may continue discussing times you got screwed in a game. No, not that screwed!

No, no rhinos. Just a line of Space Marines inexorably advancing, a few falling to enemy fire, but the simple fact that there was enough of them to make the Dawn Raid mission a success.

I was playing a counter-strike LAN game at a PC cafe, I was the last person left on my team as the last CT came after me. We ended up dueling and I was forced to pull out my pistol, eventually with everyone else watching I manged to kill him. He got pissed, until I showed him that I only had to 2 health points left.

Another time I was playing starcraft against this really n00bish player, I found his zerg base and sent in a squad of cloaked wraiths. He was all "WTF how are you hurting me, where are you!!" I just kept toying with him saying stuff like, "I'm everywhere and nowhere" as my wraiths blasted his base, he ended up calling me a cheater and quit

I have been wrongfully accused of cheating several times.

In XWA by T/D pilots who lost a T/D vs Y-Wing fight
15:2. - trying to get a missile lock when you are in
my guns range isn't a good idea.

In Crimsonskies - I used a beefed up firebrand when
most people used ineffective custom builds. The result
was that I got an insane amout of kills. People often
cry cheater wenn you have an really good K/D ratio.

In starcraft because I used a few zergling to keep my
opponent busy while I expanded by base. I had advanced
unit when my opponent still had basic grunts. Several
players thought I had some kind of resource hack.

I had a friend that loved to cheat at starcraft... he used the fog of war removel hack all the time. I refused to play with him but he kept bugging me to. So i decided to play a little trick on him. We joined a random game FFA game, I PM the other players that he was using a map hack. We all attack him at the same time. He was pissed.

That reminds me, once I used templars and made a bunch of illusions of Battlecrusiers. The other guy thought I was hacking by making BCs out of thin air, and left.

I don't play many games where it's very easy to cheat, so I haven't had that problem.

I get accused of cheating all the freakin' time in some games. The problem is that most people don't know what can be DONE in some games.

Take BF1942: Without friendly fire on, you can throw a grenade at your feet and propel yourself up onto otherwise inaccessible cliffs. I've been on maps where a medic outfit will get you to the rearmost, hardest-to-get flag within the first two minutes of play and (since the enemy is always crowding the front lines with useless snipers) ensure that the enemy is trapped in a nice vice and crushed swiftly. Even my own TEAMMATES assumed I was cheating to get through the lines so quick and unmolested.
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.
