Xfree86 and mouse pointer speed

Post by Pu-239 »

Too slow, and when I crank the mouse acceleration too high, the mouse point skips pixels. Threshold is annoying, since the acceleration is not gradual. How do you set the base pointer speed before "acceleration"? On my old computer this wasn't too much of a problem because of the low resolution(800x600), so acceleration could be cranked down, but on 1280x1024 it is.

EDIT: Learned about the baudspeed and samplerate options. Going to try that.
