I still have it. I don't play it much though, I prefer X-Wing: Alliance for Star Wars fighter simulators. Over all though I still play Wing Commnader: Prophecy or Starlancer.

Who still plays it? I wonder if I would be able to find anyone to play with me online. (I'm in Hong Kong)
I lost the manual so I'm finding it a bit hard to set up an online game...
i still play it on my dad's comp. Mine is incompatible with the game.

If you download Roger Wilco, I can make time to run some games with you. I'm probably the only one left in the Dark Guard that would still play it, unfortunately.

To be honest, I much prefer the missions from XvT:BoP for multiplayer than the stuff in XWA......XWA is miles better for a flight engine and single player.

Xvt was generally a better multiplayer....Alliance was fun and had nice eye candy...( something about heavy rocketing fighters with a blast area that's sooooooo fun.. ) ...but for general gameplay...Xvt took it hands down...multiplayer campaign....lan time!
Xcom ; Standing proud and getting horrifically murdered by Chryssalids since 1994
Playing it would involve me moving my joystick from my room comp (no Net Conn) to my Living Room Comp. That, and getting LOADS of dust and other crap off it, since half the front case is gone, and it's just been sitting there...
The MultiPlayer CD might still work though. But I'm still without a joystick unless I move it, which I don't plan on doing.
And TIE Fighter Melee baby! That was the MOST fun I ever had. No shields, two lasers, and one hit=kill (with the dual linked, side by side T/F lasers, you are gonna get two hits if any most of the time).
That takes SKILL to survive. Skill I used to have, but since I haven't played in over a year... *shrugs*

You know the luck of the gods is with you though when your 'unarmed' (all systems bar flight control and engine toast) tie fighter that's taken at least 4 hits, is still alive.
You also know the gods have a sense of irony when your partner rams promptly after surviving all that

A TIE Fighter taking FOUR hits? What were they, the underpowered lasers?

Probably, Standard lasers blast a TIE to peices after 2 hits. That's why i NEVER use them, well that and the fact that i prefer the rebellion over the empire ::: ducks ::::

That's why I like an all T/F Furball. Takes skill in there, ebcause you don't get to have the whole shields/beam weapon/missles cop out, and screwing with all the power settings and so on.
And a T/F is pretty hard to hit, unless you get unlucky and they catch you on a broadside. Plus, the lasers are side by side, like the Y-wing, making for the BEST aiming platform there is, unlike the others, with the offset lasers that have to converge...T/Fs and Y/Ws are simply a straight shot, with two lasers that are BOTH going to hit, unless the other guy is REALLY lucky or ghosts the fuck out of you.
