First, this implies the Judicial System in the United States was not a joke before this.
It's been a joke for alot longer then Trump being famous, let alone in office. Or rather, it's had laughable issues long before this anyway.

Now, as to why they were charged.
With Conspiracy?
They shouldn't have been. At all. Unless something hasn't been revealed to the public, there is no evidence to back a conspiracy charge. Conspiracy implies premeditation and co-ordination. A grand jury refused that twice before it was accepted.

The other charges, are actually rather common against protestors. Moderate chance of success.

The only reason for the conspiracy charge is that the six people in question were unmasked at the protest, and could be identified, and someone decided to target them because of that.
Media organisations, political opponents, companies, people who have sued him, etc. all being targetted by an obviously compromised legal system.

Those "don't tread on me" and 2nd Amendment circlejerkers who were preparing to fight an oppressive government are all MIA or even worse, the foot soldiers of a fascist movement.

Trump, 79, Sets Alarming Medical Record as Health Concerns Mount

Records-obsessed Donald Trump has a new one to add to the list, but it’s not so flattering.

The president, who turns 80 on Sunday, spent three hours at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, on May 26. He emerged after being pricked and prodded by some 22 specialists, an apparent record.

A Washington Post analysis of public statements by the president’s personal medical team found that was nearly double the number of physicians involved in his last physical. Last year’s check-up saw him examined by a comparatively meager 14 doctors.

The figure of 22 is also the highest number of specialists present at a single examination of a president, the Post reported. Another record for Trump.

“It is an extraordinary number,” said Jonathan Reiner, who served as cardiologist for Dick Cheney, the late vice president, and keeps a watchful eye on Trump’s health on CNN. “What specialties do they represent? Why so many?”

The White House replied to the Post’s findings by declaring, “The involvement of multiple specialists reflects a comprehensive, multidisciplinary evaluation consistent with best practices for executive-level medical care.”

“We have nothing to hide,” a White House official added. But it was Reiner who sounded the alarm before the check-up at Walter Reed, Trump’s fourth medical evaluation of his second term.

“This White House just doesn’t seem to want to acknowledge any physical ailment, but older people develop medical issues, and the president is almost 80 years old,” he told The Washington Post the day before the visit. “There just seems to be a lack of candor from the White House.”

Indeed, after the check-up, Trump crowed that he was in “perfect” health. “Just finished my 6 month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center,” Trump wrote on Truth Social that afternoon. “Everything checked out PERFECTLY. Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff! Heading back to the White House.”

His personal physician, U.S. Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, said Trump “remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function.”

Notably, Trump called the trip his “6 month physical,” while Barbarella described it on official documents as his “annual physical examination.”

The optics don’t match the brags. Trump has a seemingly permanent bruise on the back of his right hand. The White House blamed it on excessive hand-shaking, then one emerged on his other hand. He has a litany of other issues, too.

He often displays a wonky walk, skin issues, leg-dragging, cankles, a propensity for anger, and impromptu naps, and his freewheeling, often seemingly nonsensical rants don’t paint a picture of the “perfect” health that he and the White House claim.

An April poll conducted by Washington Post/ABC News/Ipsos found that fewer than half of U.S. adults believe Trump has the mental sharpness or physical health to serve effectively as president.

“I think concern for the president’s physical health is probably at an all-time high, and I think advanced physical age is the No. 1 concern,” said Dr. Jeffrey Kuhlman, who served as a White House physician for more than a decade under Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

The White House insisted to the Daily Beast that the aging president remains in “excellent health.”

“President Trump’s sharpness, unmatched energy, and historic accessibility stand in stark contrast to what we saw during the last administration when Democrats and the legacy media intentionally covered up Joe Biden’s serious mental and physical decline from the American people,” spokesman Davis Ingle said.

“President Trump is the sharpest and most accessible president in American history who is working nonstop to solve problems and deliver on his promises, and he remains in excellent health.”
More reason to hope that one of his organs goes on strike.

Being Trump, he'd probably just treat that as any other business strike and ignore the reality. :wanker:

The only thing notable is the sheer magnitude of delusional and cirlejerking in this Administration.

So, the doctor that is employed by Trump said 'perfect health'.
All evidence says otherwise.

Hmm, who to believe.

Now, big question is, is lying about the health of the president well, a criminal or civil offense in anyway?
I've been asked why I still follow a few of the people I know on Facebook with 'interesting political habits and view points'.

Trump literally falls asleep during press conferences and public meetings.

The Duce has cemented his place in American history forever. He has not only lost a war in just three months, but unlike other times when the forces of the land of the not-so-free/home of the not-so-brave run home with their tails between their legs, this time is going to cost the taxpayers a $300 billion war indemnity!

And that's before Iran starts charging tolls.

This is, however, the best possible outcome after the Axis of Epstein started this war, since the alternative would be invading a country the size of the US west of the Rockies with 90 million people. After the Army parade last year, where they trudged along like a defeated army being herded off into POW camps, I'm glad this wasn't being considered. And since Iran can crank out drones faster and more cheaply that we can build interceptor rockets (and Iranian drones were still hitting targets in spite of US air defenses), an endless bombing campaign wasn't going anywhere either. This also leaves out the dog that hasn't barked yet: The mid-term elections. It terms of human lives and taxpayer dollars; this humiliating surrender might be just enough to save Trump from spending the next few years in an orange jumpsuit...

Except that unlike everyone else Trump has used and later kicked to the curb, Bibi the Baby Butcher and his minions have political clout and won't hesitate to use it. For starters, Israel has already carried out numerous massacres in Lebanon and claimed Hezbollah's retaliation means Iran violated the truce. :wanker:

More importantly, most of Congress is on the payroll of AIPAC and right on cue, they're calling Trump a pussy (which he is). When Dems attack the GOP from the right, you know that the attacks are sponsored by AIPAC. Just ask James Baker.

If the Memorandum of Understanding/Instrument of Surrender holds, Trump just might have accomplished something. As bad as his fumbledicked war with Iran is, it's been less murderous than Von Reagan's Einsatzgruppen in Central America, the Bush family's (and Clinton's) depredations in Iraq, Obama's Timber-Sycamore scheme that turned Syria into a human slaughterhouse or Genocide Joe Biden's holocaust in Gaza.

It seems weird that you're listing this as a contrast. No question Biden enabled and supported the Gaza genocide, but it has continued under Trump (and all the stuff in Iran and Lebanon could probably be described an extension of it).

Most of the slaughter in Gaza happened while Biden was in office. Not to worry: Trump has two years and seven months to top him when Mileikowsky gets around to finishing off the survivors.

Israeli politicians openly say genocidal shit about a thousand Lebanese mothers having to weep if one Israeli mother has to weep (for soldiers killed invading and ethnically cleansing Lebanon).

Basically, the IDF has decided to emulate the Wehrmacht in terms of ethnic cleansing and reprisals against civilians if anybody decides to resist.

Mars' only advantage over space habitats is that it (marginally) hass gravity. The atmosphere is nonbreathable, barely there and no matter what we do to improve it not going to hang around thanks to the no magnetic field, and once the sun inevitably turns red giant Mars is only marginally less fried than Earth is.

Well now Trump is arresting people for vandalizing his 'fixed' reflecting pool because he can't admit he made it worse after spending weeks bragging how great it was. He's such an overgrown spoiled brat!

Leading to headlines like:

More people have been arrested over the Reflecting Pool than the Epstein files
Trump has claimed Reflecting Pool ‘vandals’ could face ‘years in jail.’ By contrast, he’s urged the public to move on from the Epstein files

Brendan Rascius in New York
Thursday 25 June 2026 16:14 EDT

More people have now been arrested in connection to the Reflecting Pool than over the Epstein files, a lawmaker has said.

In recent days, six people have been detained for allegedly vandalizing the Reflecting Pool after the basin was overtaken by algae and its paint began peeling. President Donald Trump has taken a notably aggressive line, denouncing alleged perpetrators as “sick and deranged” and claiming they could face “years in jail.”

By contrast, months after the Justice Department released millions of documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein — many of them naming prominent figures — no new arrests have been made in the U.S. Trump’s tone on that matter has been far more detached. “I think it’s really time for the country to get on to something else,” he told reporters in February.

Rep. Suhas Subramanyam, a Virginia Democrat, highlighted the discrepancy in law enforcement tactics during an interview with The Hill on Wednesday.

He accused the Trump administration of targeting harmless visitors at the Reflecting Pool while failing to pursue accountability for potential criminals linked to Epstein. “That’s how this administration operates these days,” he said.

When reached by The Independent, White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers attacked Democrats over the Reflecting Pool, but made no mention of Epstein.

“It is shameful that elected Democrats would defend the deranged vandalism that has taken place at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool,” Rogers said. “The President’s efforts to beautify our nation’s capital are supported by Americans across the country and should be praised by both Republicans and Democrats. President Trump generously spearheaded the restoration of the Reflecting Pool, and it is now reflecting beautifully despite the vandals’ attempt to destroy it.”

Reflecting Pool arrests: 6

The arrests followed the Trump administration’s completion earlier this month of a multimillion-dollar renovation of the Reflecting Pool, located in front of the Lincoln Memorial. After several no-bid contracts were awarded, crews drained the pool and applied an “American flag blue” sealant.

Just days after the basin was refilled, visitors noticed the water had turned a distinct shade of green, with clumps of algae floating on the surface. Soon after, chunks of blue paint began to peel away from the bottom.

Trump has repeatedly attributed the pool’s deterioration to sabotage, claiming that someone armed with a knife slashed a long gash in the bottom. However, according to documents obtained by The New York Times, workers were aware of problems at the pool even as the administration publicly described the renovation as a success.

This week, the White House announced that six people had been arrested in connection with alleged vandalism at the site.

“The vandalism is very real…in fact I spoke with the National Parks Service just before joining the show,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News Monday. “They now have 17 police reports that have been filed in just a matter of a few days.”

One of the reported arrests was of Olympian David Hearn, who said he was detained after leaning over to touch a “loose flap of coating” near the pool.

“I didn’t destroy or break or peel anything,” he told The Washington Post. “By the time I realized what was going on, I was being put in handcuffs.”

Epstein files arrests: 0

Following the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act in November, the Department of Justice began releasing millions of documents related to the convicted sex offender, who died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial.

The documents — some of which are heavily redacted — detail numerous allegations of sexual abuse involving Epstein, his associate Ghislaine Maxwell and others. They also reference or name a string of high-profile figures, including Trump, former President Bill Clinton, former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers and Microsoft founder Bill Gates, none of whom have been accused of any wrongdoing, and have since distanced themselves from Epstein or expressed regret over their relationship with the disgraced financier.

The files further indicate that federal prosecutors and investigators identified at least 10 additional alleged co-conspirators in their probe of Epstein and Maxwell, raising new questions about the scope of their network.

Still, months after the files were released, the Department of Justice has not brought charges against any new individuals connected to Epstein.

Trump, whose relationship with Epstein ended in the 2000s, has repeatedly dismissed the scandal as a hoax and urged the public to move on.

“I think it's really time for the country to maybe get onto something else,” Trump told reporters on February 3. “Now that nothing came out about me, other than it was a conspiracy against me, literally by Epstein and other people.”

In April, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche told NBC News: “From the information that we have within the Epstein files, we do not have a case against anybody.”

While no arrests have been made, the House Oversight Committee has received testimony from a number of high-level figures, including Gates, Bill and Hillary Clinton and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.

Public skepticism about the government’s response remains high. In a February YouGov survey, 53 percent of respondents said they believe Trump is “trying to cover up Epstein’s crimes,” while 29 percent said they disagreed.
Time to start making bets on how these reflecting pool cases get thrown out. If they stick to misdemeanors, they can skip the grand jury and all the problems Trump's attack morons have had there.
