Hey, everyone. Ran across your clubhouse while I was poking around the 'net in an insomnia-and-caffeine-fueled haze trying to find IRC servers to join. Which led down a rabbit hole to BBSes. I like to call it the Wikipedia Effect -- when you start researching one thing, like peanut butter, and somehow end up on the Napoleonic Revolution an hour later.

I'm a former virtual reality game developer living in California, though I left that career behind a couple years ago. Now I just play with tech and engineering in my spare time (which exponentially multiplied during the ongoing pandemic) while I pretend I'm making progress on my novel (spoiler: I'm not).

Anyway, pleased to meet y'all. Now to go make another pot of coffee...
