George Bush is waging a personal and unlawful war against Iraq, a war that will cost the lives of thousands of innocent people and that will have incalculable consequences. Acting like that, Bush is undermining any effort to achieve peace in the Near East, the American-European friendship, and the authority of the UNO. Whilst my best wishes go to the US and British soldiers that the war will be over soon, I strongly disapprove of the motives of their leaders. This is not the time for wrong patriotism. Self-defense? Make up your minds! Those who are powerful don't necessarily tell the truth. I will suspend site updates until further notice.

I saw that on Bernd's site and immediately left. Off to Wolf's Shipyard, but that's not the point. Last time I checked, I didn't like being fed unrelated anti-American pro-Saddam political propaganda along with my sci-fi entertainment (Darth Wong's "Warsie Propaganda" here at SDnet doesn't count simply because it goes with the spirit of a Wars Vs Trek debate ). It's like visiting a gun website and getting blitzed with anti-gay propaganda. I find it insulting to myself and my country that someone force-feed such filth to their readership. Granted, we all have the rights to air our opinions, and granted we also have the right not to like others', but if you wanna put your political views on a website you run, at least put it on a seperate section! Ah shit, I'm preaching to the damn choir again (Darth Wong knows what I mean. Look how he has the Creationism section seperate from the Wars section, both separate from his autobiographic section. )! Anyways...

Actually, SCN (Subspace Comms Network, also known by many as the EAS forums, and of where I am a mod at) is a collaboration of two sites (along with a few others). Ex Astris Scientia and Star Trek Minutiae (www.st-minutia.com, home of the acclaimed fan fic "Star Trek: Rennaisance") are the two main ones, with MinutiaeMan (owner of ST-Minutaie) being the other Administrator. SCN is simply a forum that is supported mainly by those two sites, but is in itself, an independent entity.

Which I meant by default. A board is there for opinions and if he ranted on the SCR forum, it would be no big deal. Yours, is seperated into specific parts and one knows what he/she is going to get. If Bernd would have had a page dedicated for his opinion, again, it wouldn't have bothered me much. As it stands, I am disapointed in him.
