My copy arrived today - I'm looking forward to reading it and all the comments by Zahn and his then-editor, Betsy Mitchell.

And the new story that continues after Choices of One ended :-)

I really hope they'll reissue the other two books from the trilogy too - I want them as matching hardcover edtions :-)

"In view of the circumstances, Britannia waives the rules."

"All you have to do is to look at Northern Ireland, [...] to see how seriously the religious folks take "thou shall not kill. The more devout they are, the more they see murder as being negotiable." George Carlin

"We need to make gay people live in fear again! What ever happened to the traditional family values of persecution and lies?" - Darth Wong
"The closet got full and some homosexuals may have escaped onto the internet?"- Stormbringer

Or unabridged audiobooks -- even if Marc Thompson is narrating.

Zahn's timeline only makes sense if Vader conceived Luke and Leia after getting encased in his armor.

Now THAT would have been an interesting story.

Remember, it's not just the Clone Wars forty years ago, it's Vader in the black armor showing up on Honoghr forty years ago.

I certainly don't blame Zahn, who had the unenviable task of too-old Obi-Wan or else too-young Luke and Leia to deal with. It was just a collective screwup, before the EU had its continuity dragnet to catch such things. Of course now it's bloated and ridiculous.

This is the guy they want to use to win over "young people?" Are they completely daft? I'd rather vote for a pile of shit than a Jesus freak social regressive.
Here's hoping that his political career goes down in flames and, hopefully, a hilarious gay sex scandal.

Absolutely, given that that Anakin Sr is supposed to be Luke and Leia's father, so he would have been the one who sired them. The one who conceived them would be their mother. :P

Yeah, I mean it's totally not like I brought that up on page 1 or something.

How's Kenobi too old as per the OT? He's too old now thanks to the PT but there's nothing in the OT saying the Clone Wars need to have been more than 20 years before ANH. So it turns out General Kenobi was 45-50 for that war. Big deal. Yoda was what, 880 for the Clone Wars?
'Next time I let Superman take charge, just hit me. Real hard.'
'You're a princess from a society of immortal warriors. I'm a rich kid with issues. Lots of issues.'
'No. No dating for the Batman. It might cut into your brooding time.'
'Tactically we have multiple objectives. So we need to split into teams.'-'Dibs on the Amazon!'
'Hey, we both have a Martian's phone number on our speed dial. I think I deserve the benefit of the doubt.'
'You know, for a guy with like 50 different kinds of vision, you sure are blind.'
