First Look at the Darth Plagueis Novel

Post by JME2 »

From the Force.Net

I need to thank Darth Yan to alerting me that this was official again.

Luceno's my favorite SW writer, so I'm really looking forward to this.

Such a great nod to ESB in that picture.

When we first saw Vader kneel before the giant image of Palpatine's face, we knew Palpy wasn't to be fucked with lightly.

Yep, loving the reprise.

Luceno is indeed good. Palpatine's backstory, in particular, is one of the big enigmas of the franchise, I think, and something I am looking forward to finding out more about. I will certainly be making a point of reading this when it comes out.

Luceno is a good candidate for chronicling Plageuis and young Palpatine. His knowledge of the EU is virtually unrivaled and Cloak of Deception proved that he can spin a great yarn from a bare handful of facts.

I like the idea for the cover, but it is a poor effort on the artists part. Very elementary.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.
