Huge Turbolaser on the ISDs.

Post by Anarchist Bunny »

Ok, I could be horribly wrong but the low terraton large turbolasers, do those who claim that mean the 4 huge emplacements on the sides of each ISD. Cause I was just looking through a new Original Trilogy ICS and it said they were ion cannons.

Apparently, the aft two (or was it the forward 2?) were ions, the rest were turbolasers.

ICS says that the aft most pair on the base line Imperator are heavy ion cannon turrets. The other six turrets are heavy turbolasers.

There is an arrow point to the aft most turret, which is also drawn differently then the other three which says "Heavy ion cannon turret" and a second arrow pointing to the next tyrret which says heavy turbolaser turret"

Note that the original ICS had the specs for an Impstar I, not a II.

What were the HTL emplacements on the ISD-II? Were they all HTLs?

Eight turrets with eight HTL barrels each, for a grand total of 64. Don't know how many LTL's there are, though, but they're decidedly smaller.
