I see. The Borg have no reason for providing KE shielding that would prevent the deaths of huge numbers of them? That sounds pretty stupid.

Look, you can't assume that the Borg have the technology to provide drones with KE shields, and that it has never been seen because they have never had the time/efficiency to deploy such technology. There is no evidence that they have the technology, either. That is just as bad as saying that they have already deployed it. You cannot assume that they have the ability to do something unless we either hear about it credibly, or see it happening.

And all of Mike's ST calculations are UPPER limits. All of his SW calculations are LOWER limits. It is hard to believe that there are still those that believe that Trek technology is better than Imperial technology, considering that the upper limits of ST never overlap the lower limits of SW.

Or you could think of it this way. The Borg have KE shielding, but are too stupid to use them, when KE shielding could save thousands of Borg lives, making them useful later on. If they're that stupid, the Jedi, heck even the Ewoks would have little problem defeating them.

Or the Jedi could create little vacuums around the Borg's faces. That would kill them, also.

Strangely enough, FC demonstrates that that wouldn't work.

That does not appear to make sense. Assuming that the Borg have some kind of fluid flowing through their veins, it should evaporate if placed in a vacuum (boiling the Borg). You are right, though, it is canon. Statement cheerfully withdrawn.
