What Happened Yesterday?

Post by Isolder74 »

I got from my Firewall a Invation alert just before the site went crazy. It didn't make it clear what was hapening but someone was trying to acees my Hard Drive. Someone may have been attacking this Site maliciousally.

What does the rest of you guys think?

Maybe John Clark made good on his promise after all.

Its to dumb to be a hacker!

:D

Seriously fokes this is my bread and butter for life and I think that was pure considens considering no one else reports this and I don't report it :D If you'd like to kindly check the Bean Hall of Invurability you'll see no mention of hacking attempts or whatnot at those times, Considering I have an old AMD K-6 500mhtz set up as a linux based router/hardware fire-wall onto of firewalls on my normal computer and the POS free firewall the Cable company throws in, I'm about as secure as I can be without unpluging myself from the internet(Which I've half a mind to do except when posting though I'd have to write a script or macro for it and I'm kinda lazy and a present running script or marco might send my Anti-virus protections a little insane

i've checked the log on my firewall and the problem seemed to be a simple logorithim. What it basically does is send a hit to a certain url and the idea is to overwhell it's server. My Theat assessor found an anomally associated with this site. Who ever did this covered there tracks well

Maybe we sould go down to ASU and "persuade" John Clark to tell us what we know. And don't forget to bring the torture droid.

if i had it on it would had track the guy down and destroy the Virus/algorithim and then tell the IP address of the Hacker. AOL made me turn it off cause it attacked a virus on their server and they sent me a nasty note telling me to tone down my security.
