For future reference, it's best to include links to pages like "Rapture Ready" as text only links, rather than clickable ones. Although it adds a few steps for users (cut/paste url into new window), it keeps sd.net out of the referrer logs of a site enjoying visitors from here

I didn't read much of their...holiness, but from what I did, stupidity is alive and well on the intraweb.

For particular amusement...
If someone is thinking of sleeping with another woman yes they have sinned...
A conversation about fantasy...apparently if you think it, you did it. Guilty of everything under the sun, am I.
I was watching Unsolved Mysteries, and it had on a woman who claimed to have been repeatedly visited by aliens. She told her story about how she had been visited by these aliens for several years, and how she was always terrified of them but was powerless to get away from them.
Well, she was telling the story of the last time the aliens came to visit her. She said that she was awoken in the middle of the night by a strange sound. She came downstairs and walked into the kitchen. She said she saw 4 or 5 of the strange human-like "aliens" standing in her kitchen. They came at her to get her and she screamed. They laid hold of her and she was so frightened and terrified of them, but she could not fight back or resist them. She said that in desperation she cried out "Please God help me!". Immediately a bright white light came through the ceiling and swirled above them. The white light swirled in a circle and as it's light touched the "aliens" they were literally thrown out from the room straight through the walls! The "aliens" literally were thrown through the walls as if they were spirits! The white light swirled above her and she said she felt overwhelmed by the feelings of love and peace coming from the light.
She said that WHAT SHE HAD LEARNED FROM THE EXPERIENCE was that she could, indeed, resist the aliens if she set her mind to it and respected herself enough to stand firm against them.

Is she kidding me???? Does it amaze anyone else that a person could call out to God, be delivered by God, and then be blind to the fact that it was GOD?! She thinks she had something to do with it??? She doesn't see that God saved her?

One would tend to think that that experience would have been enough to open someone's eyes. One would tend to think that she would realize that God exists and heard her cry and saved her. One would tend to think that that would have brought about her seeking God and becoming saved.

But......... she is completely blind to what God had done for her.

Sometimes I think that God is sitting in heaven and shaking His head.
Amazing leaps of logic there; start out deriding someone for the ignorance and "cluelessness" by claiming to be visited by aliens. And then continue, but state they are wrong because it was not aliens...instead, it was the author's own private pink unicorn.
A lot of Wiccans, Satanists, goths, etc. 14-year-olds are highly impressionable
As opposed to the millions of Christian Fundamentalists who are experts at being unmoved by anything.
Like I said in an earlier post, I don't think my son has a problem with differentiating fantasy from reality, nor is he lonely for friendships, nor do I feel he would necessarily be sucked into the seduction of the occult, but the cards just glorify evil, depict witchcraft and there is no disputing those facts.
So many experts on what is fact.
