UFP Presidential Election

Post by Romulan_nemesis »

Just for fun: It's election time in the Federation. It's time to elect a President!
For the sake of what-the-hell-ness, I'm going to use U.S. political parties.
Please vote, and have fun! - Romulan Nemesis

Sisko: Strong defense ( All Sisko has to do is put himself in a suicidal position and the Prophets will make the bad guys disappear), The speeches would probably be very boring though.

Janeway: She'll go down in history as "Janeway the Terrible", what with killing people who really piss her off, violating the Prime Directive to suit her own twisted sense of morals, and making new races and civilizations enemies from the point of first contact.

Archer: Aside from his anti-"Alien Nazi" stance, he'll be a peacemaker extending the olive branch to enemies and preaching togetherness.

More than likely Sisko and Archer would be no more interesting than the average president.

Janeway would go down as the worst president ever in the history of interstellar civilization

Ah! You made me vote Republican! I feel dirty!

Nah, I've voted Republican once or twice, and I definately trust Sisko more than Janeway or Archer. Janeway would just fuck up everything and Archer would simultaneously increase torture of US prisoners while signing peace treaties with the North Koreans and Iranians.[/i]

Sure she isn't a Republican? :P

I'd vote for Archer. Who knows, maybe he does become the first UFP President.

Picard: Like Archer he'll be known as a peacemaker, his platform would primarily be that of pacifism and demilitarization.

Kirk: His term would mainly be remembered by the eradication of all venereal diseases due to the anti-VD health initiative he'll spearhead.

Err, the LAST thing the Federation needs is even more pacifism and demilitarization. What they need is somebody like Mark Sheppard to get into power for a while and give them some balls.
I'll go with Sisko.

I'd like to nominate Hikaru Sulu.
