I figure before it's done, you'll see guest appearences by Cardassians, Bajorans, Jem'Hadar, Founders, etc etc.....

Dont forget Q!
By the end of it they will probably have Trelane´s species (Squire of Gothos), the Thasians (Charlie X), the Metrons (Arena) and the Organians (Errand of Mercy) somehow linked to the Q, like different political factions or races.

Actually, that one isn´t half-bad. Except finding a plausible story for all to interact.

I hope they dont. Can`t these tards just accept that they dont have to explain EVERYTHING or link them together? Its just like how Annakin built C3PO. I hate shit like that.

there's an EU novel series that tries to explain some of the links between various superbeings.

I hope Q does appear actually. I'm sure he will in some form, there's no doubting it really... obviously the crew will just no realise what/who he is, as with every other timeline shitter we've seen.

There is no Star Trek Extended Universe. It's just novels.

And it's called Q-Squared.

That only linked together Trelane and Q, not Trelane, the Metrons, the Thasians, Organians et cetera...

That said, Q-Squared kicked so much arse. PAD is one of those ST writers that I wish someone someday will go "Yeah. He's canon." It will never happen, but still... if there's one ST 'eu' (:P) author who deserves that honour it is Peter David.

Didn't other superbeings play a role in that novel? Like ST V's "God"? And didn't the Organians appear briefly?

As I recall, it was ST author Fontana who first(?) used the phrase "expanded universe" when dealing with Star Trek events described in books and not on the show itself back in the 60's or 70's.

That was I, Q which had a few other god beings as well as God(and not the ST:V God either...actually God...and she and Q had an interesting past.)

Which just makes it a name under her want. In reality it might as well be called Alternate Universe as well since that would hold as much validity given some authors.

Bah. I just want to know the origin of V'Ger, God, and the metrons. I don't care about those other omnipotents. To hell with them!

According to Shatner...V'Ger was captured by the Borg and then reformatted.

Course then Kirk had to then stop the Borg by shutting them down by pulling on the master control lever.

No, I shit you not.

I just looked up the title...the one I was refering to seemed to be the Q Continuum trilogy by Greg Cox.

Fuck Shatner. He's a shitty author and actor.

I would like to know the origin of the prope which merged with the human probe to create Nomad.
The ships of the race which created this prope must be pretty powerful.
I asked The Lord, "Why hath thou forsaken me?" And He spoke unto me saying, "j00 R n00b 4 3VR", And I was like "stfu -_-;;"

Thats the one with the mutliple timelines right? Ends up with a sword fight between Picard and Trelane? And Picard wins through the shitttiest move that even a holdeck program could block with ease?

If that is the one, I read it and it rocked.
