I don't know what this is, where it came from but.... has anyone seen this before, give me some insight into wtf it is!?

Perhaps it's part of Kirk's antique collection? It might have been part of an episode that was cut.

Ye Godz! I may still have the issue of HotRod magazine featuring that little gem buried somewhere. That was a custom roadster William Shatner had built for him and I think George Barris Kustomizers was the shop which did the work. It was based on a Corvette chasis and of course had a Corvette motor at its heart. The car was actually featured in the episode "Bread And Circuses" as the Jupiter-8, the car being advertised in the magazine the Children of the Sun kept with them (that scene has been clipped from the syndicated copies of the episode) and was used as the Catwoman's car (with a fuzzy pink tail stuck on the back) in a fourth season episode of Batman. But yes, I remember that car.
