He's saying that they may protect against other forms of shielding--such as the One's KE shield. IIRC, Borg drones' shields flash when they pass through force fields.

By energy shields we mean protecting against phasers. By KE shields we mean protecting against physical objects. ALL drones have energy shields. Read his post again.

When a physical object hitting another physical object, like two drones, the KE shields will be activated.

The fact that one of them produces effects at considerable distance from the drone while the other does not might be considered an obvious clue to one who is not so stupid as yourself, little one. Not to mention the fact that one drone was thrown like a rag doll while the other was unmoved.

Incorrect, little one. The phenomenon cannot be explained by merely assuming one shield can apply more force. Now here's your homework assignment: go study some elementary collision physics and figure out why I said that.

I'm intrigued. Could you explain?

I assumed that that One's shield would hold longer then the other drones shield and when it collapses it would be thrown back.
