Possible TNG & Ent continuity tie in
In the episode 'A Matter of Time' a time traveler appears and claims to be a historian from the future, but later is discovered to be from the past and killed the real future historian and took his place to get future tech to take back to the past and claim to invent it. He says he is from the 22nd century, so couldn't B&B use this to tie into TNG? have the crew of Ent run into the real time traveler and then be there when the other guy takes his place and steals his ship, maybe even tie it in with the Temporal Cold War.... it is just a thought.
btw the episode of TNG I mentioned is Rick Berman's only solo writing credit in the first five seasons of TNG. So it is not like he had nothing to do with that episode and would want nothing to do with it.

As cool as that tie in would be, I somehow don't see it happening.
I'd love to see Rasmussen on Enterprise. Somehow I don't think they'd be as trusting of him as they were on TNG.

I just saw that episode yesterday, ironically.Death from the Sea wrote:In the episode 'A Matter of Time' a time traveler appears and claims to be a historian from the future, but later is discovered to be from the past and killed the real future historian and took his place to get future tech to take back to the past and claim to invent it. after all the title is Star Trek:Enterprice (since season 3)evilcat4000 wrote:Enterprise does not really fit into Star Trek. It does not even have the word Star Trek in the title.

Are you sure it's irony, and not because he saw it to and thats what sparked the thread?Praxis wrote:I just saw that episode yesterday, ironically.Death from the Sea wrote:In the episode 'A Matter of Time' a time traveler appears and claims to be a historian from the future, but later is discovered to be from the past and killed the real future historian and took his place to get future tech to take back to the past and claim to invent it. Perhaps Future Guy will cause a disruption that wipes out Janeway from the timeline -- which in turns wipes out VGR's sissy destruction of the Borg and her orders to Picard, thereby prevent 'Nemesis' from happening the way it did.Superman wrote:If ENT isn't part of Star Trek, then neither is VOY. If VOY isn't, I might be able to like Star Trek again.

You reminded me of Megatron (Beast Wars version) and his speech to a dormant Optimus Prime in the second season finale, 'The Agenda' and it can apply to what future guy could say:Superman wrote:<sings> To dream... the impossible dream... It has all come down to this - the ultimate risk for the ultimate prize.
