Fucking a vulcan woman
So I was watching an episode of TNG the other night, and it reminded me that Spock's mother is human while his father is a vulcan. I wonder how that worked. Since Vulcans suppress their emotions, acquiring a mate must be simply a desicion based on logic. Odd.
Since she has no emotions, she wouldn't want to really cuddle all the time (not that cuddling is bad, but when you get married you learn that women want to do it ALL the time while you just want to sleep, eat, watch tv, etc), right? That wouldn't be bad. I wonder, though, if she would only want to fuck during her Pon Far period. If so, she must know it would be logical to please her husband during her "off" time so I would think lots of oral would be called for. Also, since she suppresses her emotions, would she really get into having sex? What the hell would that be like?

This is all too reminescent of a post from about 6 months back where the topic was on fucking a Changeling.
As to if Vulcans do it in their off time - and other than pon farr - well I have no idea. But two thoughts relating to it come to my mind.
1. The Comic-Book Guy on THE SIMPSONS in the episode where the nerds take over Springfield setting the guideline for sex for every 7 years, alal the Vulcans - "That means more sex for me and less for you."
2. An old Trek friend of mine named Jack who hates ENT and after seeing the decon sequence in "Broken Bow" stroked his index and middle finger as if they were one (ala an errect dick) and called it his 'T'Pol'. Sick, I know, but I coulnd't stop laughing.
Well that's my two cents for the day.

Vulcans have emotions - they just don't show them.
I think it was a non-canon source, but I recall one quote as explaining that when pon farr does come around, they make the best use of that time that they can. (translation: Lots of sex, possibly kinky at that)
Think of it this way: During pon farr, Vulcans are filled with passion such that if they don't get nookie, they'll either kill or be killed by their own body's need for release. I don't think you'd have a problem with her "not getting into sex" during pon farr.

Pon farr is anything but logical. Also, since she suppresses her emotions, would she really get into having sex?

Vulcans have emotions, but they are expressed far more subtly than is the human norm —and the episode "Amok Time" hints that Vulcan women are capable of sexual desire and that the sex instinct is not purely confined to the seven-year mating cycle. Elsewise, just what would explain the relationship between T'pring and Stonn?
Also, recall that Spock was able apparently to engage in foreplay with the Romulan commander in "The Enterprise Incident", which involves the elaborate finger-touching/stroking gestures. And it was Dorothy Fontana who wrote that one.
Vulcan sexuality, apart from the mating drive, is apparently as subtle as the rest of their emotionality —at least as conceived in the TOS era.

If you take the book Sarek into account you can also see that emotional desire to have a mate is somewhat accepted in Vulcan society. This is why Sarek choose a human wife in the first place. He was a bit freerer with his emotions, and she had more control over hers then most humans. After their bond, they became true husband and wife. However given how Vulcans work, they shared their emotions through their link that was established when they mind melded. So while they can express emotions with each other, very few others can see it.

It seems entirely possible to me that a Vulcan can have and enjoy sexual activity outside Pon Farr, which is how they reproduce. Since their bodies are similar to humans, I would imagine they can be stimulated to an orgasm without producing a child, just like a human.
Why would they do this? Because Vulcans are not perfectly logical. Perfect logic is an ideal to them, and it's reasonable to assume they regard the journey as yielding its own reward. Surely they would be logical enough to recognize that they can't live totally divorced from their emotions. They would probably express emotion in private and in a very polite manner, considering public displays of emotion to be as distasteful as we see publicly relieving oneself.
I am speculating a lot, but the Vulcans are clearly not as cold and bland as a perfectly logical people would be. If Vulcans were perfectly logical, then they'd grab the nearest member of the opposite sex and rut on the spot during the Pon Farr, just to get it done. Also, they would be like the Borg.

The one thing that has always puzzled me about Vulcans is that they're so stoic. Logic and emotions don't negate one another, living logically simply means letting your rational decisions determine your actions not your irrational emotions. That does not mean you can't have nor enjoy emotions, it simply means that you don't let them run your life. And a logical being would quickly recognize that the only true point to life for a conscious being is its own happiness and enjoyment of its existance, since it's broken the limits of eat-sleep-fuck-shit that other animals are stuck in. Hence why I created this image of spock when he's on Vulcan in his REAL getup:

The way i understand it, Vulcans CAN mate everytime they want (just like humans). It is just during pon farr, that the vulcan males HAVE to mate or they die.
The optimist thinks, that we live in the best of all possible worlds and the pessimist is afraid, that this is true.

As much as I hate to say it, ENT's "Harbigner" backs that claim up - though it could be argued T'Pol was on drugs and didn't know what she was doing.[/i]FTeik wrote:The way i understand it, Vulcans CAN mate everytime they want (just like humans).
