[Spoiler] The Admiral's Review: 'Zero Hour'

(Warning: Spoilage Ahoy!)

The Episode 'Zero Hour' was actually quite compelling. I did find
one thing odd.... the 'Evil Alien Nazi' ending was completely
unexpected and interesting, if kinda hokey (i mean, the Nazis showed
up in TOS and again in Voyager!).

Evil Lizard Guy gets blown up. Kinda disgusting, but i guess he
deserved it. The Reptilians were the most stereotypical of the Xindi
throughout the arc. So Dick Dastardly evil. Their choice of cuisine
(live mice) only seems to confirm that. Although it does make sense,
given that they are reptiles....

T'Pol is getting way, way, way too emotional. I actually found
season 1/2 T'Pol to be not too unVulcanlike as I see it, but season
3 her emotions have exploded all over the place. Even before the
Trellium started turning her mind into putty.

The alien guy kinda looked like a Reman with a case of redeye. He
actually looked like he fit very well in the Nazi uniform.

Where in God's name were the Intrepid and her 2 buddies, the rest of
Earth's fledgling Starfleet? And the NX-02? It should be finished
soon... and all Earth had was ONE measly unarmed space station? I
mean, come on now, we've been at war for a year and still not even a
measly orbital defense station?

Xindi Planetkiller was really cool looking. Death Star, eat your
heart out. Even if the Xindi Planetkiller lacks a TIE squadron and
some turbolasers. Gotta blow up planets with some style. And really
kewl rotating thingies. I mean, they ain't great, but it beats the
cratered beach ball anyday.

Shran seems to have a lot in common with Mighty Mouse lately. "Here
I come to save the day, pinkskins!".

The Federation does get founded.

Where in god's name is FutureGuy? The Suliban? The Klingons? Are
they just taking naps all the while Archer and Co. gallivanted
around the Expanse?

I wonder what those P-51 pilots have to say about encountering one
bona fide spaceship. Will they think it's Alien Space Nazis, or
something?

BTW, the test subject in an earlier ep was a male-oid sphere
builder, but all of the leaders we've seen so fare are female-oid.
What gives?

The sphere explosions looked silly. Like they turned into red balls
of crumpled paper or something, and sent a bolt of lightning to
destroy the next sphere.

Space anomalies.... all gone! No more Zombie Vulcans, inside-out
Klingons, speed bumps in the corridor, etc. I wonder what those
sphere-worshiping fundamentalists have to say now?

I guess no one has anything to say about my review. Was it just too good or too bad to comment on?

Maybe people just don't give a damn about your opinions. There at least two other threads that are on the excat same topic post in the for crying out loud.

Hmm... doesn't everyone post their 'own' review in their own thread, and post replies to that thread?

Or does that trapping from the alt.tv.star-trek.* hierarchy not apply outside of usenet?

Post your review in the other threads about "Zero Hour".
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.
