The Romulan warbird is a great design. I like it's huge size and graceful construction.Trogdor wrote:My favorite ship design was the Constitution class, but for different races overall I'd have to go with the Romulans, whose ships I've always liked.

I liked the Federation designs overall, but there were some standouts for me among the others: the Xindi-aquatic ship, and the Breen warship especially.

I'm gonna go with the Sovereign, Prometheus, and Defiants here. The NX-01 also looks nice to me, IMO. I like it.
Some of the Dominion ships (in the pics I found at DITL...hey, he can't screw those up, can he?) look nice too, especially that Dreadnought. But I still like the Fed designs better.

There was a ST game (TOS era) where you had to command your starship (3rd person vieuw) and had a map that was devided in sectors (risk-style). Cant remember its name at the moment and i dont know if all the designs were canon but the Rommies had beautiful ship designs (something that looked more gracefull yet heavier than a Klingon battleship as a precursor of the TNG warbird). The Silence and I wrote:Runners up are Romulans, love the Warbird, but nothing else...?
Anyway, i dont know much about TOS but if the designs are all canon there's a lot more to pick from than only the TNG warbird

No. There are two. They are very similar looking but have distinct differences.evilcat4000 wrote:Is not there only one type of cruiser, the Dominion battlecruiser ?Dominion Cruiser II

Piss off. I like the ships I like and I don't give a flying fuck what other people think of the ships. But I'll be damned if your going to insult me on my taste on ship design without my letting you know your an idiot.

And it's got those mission pods. I like the weapon one myself.Wired_Grenadier wrote:I really like the Nebula design. Almost the power of the Galaxy class, but put into a much more compact and ergonomic design.

There is Starfleet Command 3 available now. It is similar to the original Starfleet Command but set in the TNG era. I recommend giving it a try.wautd wrote:i think your rightevilcat4000 wrote:I think you are talking about Starfleet Command.

Actualy the Nebula design is more powerful. Packs the same warp core in a smaller ship and smaller profile meaning its got better shielding. With a normal mission pod it carries double the forward firepower of the Galaxy's torpedo capacity. Its got moderately good phaser coverage. The torpedo pod and the AWACs pod are also excelent mission pods to use.Wired_Grenadier wrote:I really like the Nebula design.
