That looks like something from a "First Contact" trailer. I distinctly remember seeing Voyager in one of the previews shown before "Independence Day"...some of the crowd thought the movie had already started, and booed when "Star Trek" flashed on the screen
Pain, or damage, don't end the world, or despair, or fuckin' beatin's. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, ya got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man ... and give some back.

Well, it's definitely Voyager and the aspect ratio of the shot is in movie format (9:16 rather than 3:4, which is what it would be if it was from the show). I'm endorsing seanroberstons guess that it's from the old First Contact trailer.

I am wondering why they bothered to actualy create a shot of Voyager going against the Borg just for that trailer. Every other VFX shot was reused footage except this one. They used shots from All Good Things, Emmisary, and Generations. And yet they made this shot. Seems like a lot of effort for nothing.
I've heard rumors that Paramount was originaly going to have a cameo with Voyager running into the Cube while they were in the Delta Quadrant.

Question: wasn't Voyager in the Delta Quadrant when First Contact happened? I know it is just teaser stuff to get fans excited about the movie, but in the chronology of it all.

Yes it was. Third or fourth season I think.

Fascinsating. Does anyone have a link to the trailer? Or is it on the FC DVD?
