I believe it is 2148 atm on Ent. This is why we should be expecting Romulan war in 2150 and formation of Feds. Well I haven't been watching Ent but isn't this correct?evilcat4000 wrote:Was not the Federation established in 2150 ? I thought Kirk's Enterprise was the first recorded Fed. encounter with the Tholians, though???

History? I love history! First, something happens, then, something else happens! It's so sequential!! Thank you first guy, for writing things down!

Are you suggesting SFB is canon? The Yosemite Bear wrote:Star Fleet Battles=liscenced wargame reacently brought into the wing as part of the starfleet universe (allegedly the Mirak, Lyrans and Hydrans do live in the alpha quadrant, we just haven't seen them yet.)
Oh and I vote Mirak, because I kick ass with Mirak. Though why haven't you put ISC down? They rock too!

no, I am say that Paramount/Viacom as part of their liscencing agreements with Actavision and Task Force Games. Have made the RACES (Hydran, Mirak, and Lyran) part of the official Startrek universe. So they conon do exist, we just have to let B&B decied what they can do....

according to the startrek.com website itself, it ain't canon unless it's presented in the shows or movies, with the exception of two voyager books.
so even though it may be an official game, in the sense that paramount approved it, it doesn't count as canon.

Right now it's 2153 in ENT. The Romulan War shouldn't happen untill ~2158 and the establishment of the Federation in ~2162. The Federation doesn't exist in ENT yet, only the pre-Federation Earth Starfleet which is not the Federation Starfleet.Super-Gagme wrote: I believe it is 2148 atm on Ent. Not necessarily. You could always claim the one Kirk faced was damaged.Sidious wrote:Sovereign fires one quantum torpedo salvo into the maw, doomsday machine dies.I'd like to see another Doomsday Machine episode. (only in the TNG era though, wouldnt make sense in ENT) I'd like to see a sovereign try to take out one of those.
I agree it would be cool to see though

They had, but that hadn't had much contact with them. When Spock saw them in "The Tholian Web" he commented by saying "Renowned Tholian punctuality..."Spanky The Dolphin wrote:I think they had encountered the Tholians before, actually.
No, we didn't get to see them which pissed the everliving FUCK out of me.Did they actually have any interior or viewscreen shots of the Tholians, or was it just external shots of their ships? Did they speak, also?

There was contact and we saw a decent image of Commander Loskeen, but it wasn't exactly the sort of CG creation that Enterprise could have done. He was wearing some sort of mask in the picture (strikingly similar to the Predator's mask) and the area around him was glowing a dull red.Uraniun235 wrote:I could have sworn there was visual contact made with the Tholians in The Tholian Web.

I would like to see more of the other founding members of the Federation, who are oft ignored by the scriptwrits: the Andorians & the Tellarites. The scarsety of the former in starfleet is hard to rationalize (unless they are being deliberately marginalized by their former traditional enemies: the Vulcans, but that would be illogical...
), also the 4-way marriages make for plot oppurtunities.
Of the choices above, I would go with the Tholians, because as others have mentioned the Gorn are much too likely to become a parody of themselves if B&B get their hands on them.

Chicks from Risa, or the Edo(ians?). I'd like to see alot of 'hats dropped' on Rubicon III.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong
But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Actually, If I may do a write in: I want to see more of the Deltans. We've only seen them once that I'm aware of, and a race that needs to take an oath of celibacy to function around humans ought to be intriguing on so many levels.

Hmmm...Gorn or Tholians...*flips a coin* Gorn. I really, really would like to see the Gorn. They are still so mysterious, they could be developed in almost any direction. And damn, but that Gorn captain was tough...
*imagines the Gorn boarding the E-E, with Worf charging with his bat'leh and missing, then the Gorn commander snaps his wrist*
That would be so cool...

Here's my thoughts on it:
Tholians - We need to see more of them, especially given their apperance in ENT's "Future Tense". Perhaps if Paramount ever does 'Excelsior' then it could.
Cardassians - If they do a Trek XI, the Cardassians in my book must be the villian, especially if they brought DS9 to the big screen.
And that's my rambling.
