Drops add up though. Just takes a while.

Well, the Kaladir killed a lot of wizards, the importance of which is paramount to countering the Khaduli way of war. But yeah, seems to me that the celestial could have been more effective doing hit and run. Also, presuming a calling rather than summoning effect, dead is dead.

Hit and run was the original plan, but Kaladir saw that the security was too tight for that. The only way to get any wizards meant getting stuck in past the point of no return, which they did. The Khaduli aren't used to magical guerilla warfare, but they are learning.
