No, AIM didn't have VIP, iirc. I know Trillium and the other "multi-chat" programs didn't, but we still got a LOT of gaming done on them

For the most part we don't use VIP either, unless someone's streaming a play-thru, or teamed up to play something.

If you're seeing dick pics on a particular discord server then chances are that's what you signed up for.

It is good, and while the conversation can get circular, going back to older arguments from day/days before, it's good to just talk to people.

Unless it's one of those days where I step away for an hour and suddenly there's 200+ messages to catch up on.

I wish there was a way to link the older BBS forums to apps like Discord.

I like finding old threads that have answers for questions I have, good arguments, etc.
