*bump* Chris's mother reminds you to please send letters. I also have his address on file if you want to send him physical letters.

Chris' appeal has been set down for hearing. I'm not sure when, his mother didn't say specifically.

That's good news. At least the process is moving forward (however slow).

Is the donation drive still a-go? If so, where can I get in on it?

Has there been any more details released since this bit of news?

For reference. The prosecution conceded the case; Chris will hopefully go home soon.
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

Should the threads be merged and preserved for posterity at some point?
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

I'm sure everything will get moved into Friends of Chris eventually.
