The asian countries and cultures are many and varied. Koreans are individaulistic by the standards of the region, but very conservative by American standards. A classic example is the "troubled rebelious youth" in these countries, doing their own thing, but in a group! As one who knows so much about statistics you should be able to recognise broad trends, and discount small deviations from the mass. And don't twist the meaning in my post to count "deviations" as anything but a mathematical term.
By the way Asia, and the Asians that live in it is a geograpghic region, not a race.
You seem to be confusing Asian culture, with Chinese culture.
I have been there. (The region) The Koreans, the Vietnaamise, the Thai, the Philipinos, the Chinese, the Cambodians,ect... , all consider themselves unique, and being lumped together racialy torques their headbolts.
They don't mind being linked by geogrphy.
The same way the "Africans" resent being lumped together racialy. They are Kenyans, or Sierra Leonis, or Hutu, or Borundi, or Zulu, for that matter.
I never found one who resented being lumped together geographicly, for the perposes of discusion.
