A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? A country isn't a rock. It's not an extension of one's self. It's what it stands for. It's what it stands for when standing for something is the most difficult! - Chief Judge Haywood

One of these two is the most painful experience yet:

Inserting a catherder.

Removing one.

The latter has no pain killers, and it can have gotten stuck.

Guess which!

I'm relieved that you're near a compy, Nit. I'm sorry to hear about the catherder. Egh. My mom's a nurse, and I've heard how that can really bite.

Since I've had both happen to me in exactly that fashion, I can say with authority that the latter is much more painful. I don't envy you.

I've had a cell scraping in the urethra and that was bad enough though it lasted less than a second. I can't imagine what a stuck catheter must be like.
