Pusuant to the Rules 5.A.III. The Chancellor shall be elected from the membership of the Senate and is subject to confirmation by the Emperor. Pursuant to 3.A.II the winner must carry a simple majority of all votes. There are, as of the opening of this vote, 52 active Senators and 58 total Senators including the current Chancellor and the Emperor. If anyone is concerned I am abstaining from this vote.
