That's odd...I thought you were allowed to say anything you wanted (from 'Free Love' to 'Kill the Jews') without fear of reprisal (in the US, at least). Does the cartoon suggest we 'correct' those who do not conform? From Ashcroft to Hitler to the KKK, they're ALL protected.

We have to leave these people alone because free speech is one of our most fundemental liberties. At least, as long as speech is as far as they go, which is what the cartoon postulates.

Actually, what would happen if a country like Iraq or North Korea managed to get a nuke? They would be few and with low power levels. Andf if they tried to use it, maybe they could score some hundred thousand killings, but then.. BOOM.. Obliteration from the map. Iraq transformed into glass..
Even a mad tyrannical evil ruler has to be in a very bad day to try a stunt like this

Yeah, Saddam likes to be the boy on the block with all the best toys. He likes having all the kids in his neighborhood looking up to him, or at least afraid of him. Having a nuke would give him more presitge with some people in the Middle East. He would have to be nuts to use it since according to a quote on last nights news Israel is supposed to have 300 nukes (this was stated by an Arab who was baically saying "so what if Saddam gets Nukes, Israel already has 300).
