James Web Space Telescope returns first images 😀

So the first test images are in. Seems the mirrors are a little more off than they thought the rocket would jostle them around but not to worry as the mirrors have motors to aline them remotely.
Soon we will have dedicated infrared space telescope images to fawn over boys! Soon very soon!

I am very excited by this telescope, and I cannot wait to see what images and info it returns. I have high hopes for some beautiful scenes.
